\nDescription: \;This cou rse aims to focus on the importance and history of the Federal Fair Housin g Act and its application in today's real estate environment. We will disc uss how the Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces the Feder al Fair Housing Act as well as review the most common discriminatory pract ices like service and assistive animals and how to best handle a reasonabl e accommodation request. We will also examine examples of Federal Fair Hou sing complaints and discuss Federal Fair Housing initiatives and resources . This class meets NAR and CAR’s triennial requirement. Please verify with your Local Association if they will accept the course\, as some will not.
