The Edmond Board of Realtors strives to be an active participant in community events. At EBR, we encourage all members to get involved by volunteering and joining Committees. If you are interested in volunteering with EBR please contact us using the "contact" tab above.
Volunteer and Event Opportunities:
Committee volunteer: EBR Committees include ELOT Accelerate, Banquet, Blood Drive, Board of Directors, Building, Bylaws, Community Donations, Diversity and Equity, Education, Edmond Leaders of Tomorrow, Finance, Golf Tournament, Habitat, Membership, Nominating, Public Relations, Program, Professional Standards, Government Affairs and RPAC, Strategic Planning.
Community Grants: EBR accepts grants from nonprofits in the Edmond and Guthrie areas. Grants are reviewed by a committee of volunteers and winners are chosen yearly.
Student Scholarships: High school seniors from Edmond, Guthrie, and Deer Creek are encouraged to apply for $1,000 scholarships from EBR. Applications are reviewed by a committee of volunteers and 2-4 winners are chosen yearly.
Bowling for Freedom: The Edmond Board of REALTORS® is teaming up with Warriors for Freedom & UCO Vet Heros to host Bowling for Freedom. 100% of the profit will be split between these organizations
EBR Annual Auction: A portion of proceeds from our fundraising events will help fund Edmond, Deer Creek, and Guthrie Public Schools; Teacher of the Year Recognitions and School Foundations, Oklahoma Housing Foundation, School Supply Donation Drive, High School Student Scholarships and Donations to local charities. In addition, the proceeds from this event have become a vital source of non-dues income for the association.
RPAC: RPAC Investments go to support local, state and national candidates who support homeownership and private property rights!
School Supply Donation Drive: Donations of food, backpacks, and school supplies are accepted at Realtor and Affiliate offices and divided between Guthrie, Edmond, and Deer Creek schools based on need every August.
Harriett Wagnon Annual Golf Tournament: A portion of the proceeds benefit Edmond, Deer Creek & Guthrie Teacher of the Year & School Foundations, Oklahoma Housing Foundation, School Supply Drive, HHBC Ministries of Jesus (in Harriett's name), Community & Student Scholarships
Habitat Framing Day: Usually held in October on a Saturday, join us to frame a house with Habitat for Humanity.
EBR Annual Blood Drive: Held before Thanksgiving the EBR Blood Drive is a contest between the Norman Board and Edmond Board on who can give the most blood to OBI.
Realtor Ring Day: Proceeds benefit the Salvation Army
